Welcome. I'm David,

Therapy can be a place to slow things down, make sense of what you’re carrying, and feel less alone with it. I offer a calm, thoughtful space to explore what has shaped you — at a pace that feels manageable.

Is this approach for?

Feeling easily overwhelmed or have high sensitivity

Living with relational or developmental trauma

struggling with being seen or asking for support

wanting a slower, more relational approach to therapy

My recent exploration of Cptsd

A Brief Introduction to Complex Trauma (CPTSD)

Complex Post-Traumatic Stress (CPTSD) does not usually arise from a single event. Instead, it develops through repeated or ongoing experiences of stress, particularly in relational environments where safety, emotional support, or choice were limited.

Often, CPTSD is less about what happened and more about what was missing — consistent care, attunement, protection, or the freedom to be oneself without consequence. Over time, the nervous system adapts in order to survive.

These adaptations are intelligent and protective. However, in adulthood, they can begin to feel exhausting or restrictive.
